"Your Next Chapter" encourages elementary school students to read for themselves and their schools

"Your Next Chapter" is an online reading challenge for elementary school students! Read books, complete activities, and earn prizes. And for WPUSD students -- that could include up to $1000 for your school to purchase books!

How to Participate:

• Register: Sign up at lincolnca.beanstack.com or download the Beanstack app.
• Select Your School: Make sure to list your school during challenge registration so your hours count toward their total! (Already registered for Summer Reading in a previous year? Your school is already attached to your account).
• Log Your Reading: Track your minutes through March and April. The competition ends on May 1, 2026.
• Win Prizes: Beyond helping your school, students can also earn individual prizes—including their very own forever book

Prizes:

• All participants can earn a forever book by completing the challenge. 
• The WPUSD elementary school with the most minutes read will earn a $1000 prize, courtesy of the Friends of the Lincoln Public Library, to purchase new books. 
• The second place WPUSD elementary school will receive $750
• The third place WPUSD elementary school will receive $500
